Would be interested in firefox 3, Safari 3.1 and Opera 9.5 in comparison to IE7.

Or at least add it, because else this page has become irrelevant… (I know it is half a year old)

Nice comparison, would be great if you could suggest mitigation strategies

Can anyone tell me how I can develop something that performs well in all browsers. Do you say that I need to pick up the best from each. Any idea about how Dojo and Prototype handles array and string operations.

I’ve an issue quite related :

I’ve got an ASP.NET 3.5 app that loads a page with a very big datagrid.

When the page is finally loaded, IE 6 and 7 are still using 40 % of the processor, not FF.

Do you know about this issue ?

Removing AJAX components on the page (ScriptManager and UpdatePanel) make the 40% become 20% but the problem is still there …
